| Abstract | The purpose of this project is to examine whether a low-cost, multi-layer filtration system can effectively reduce the amount of microfibers released into wastewater during the washing of synthetic fabrics. This study looks at how different filtration materials and designs affect microfiber capture efficiency and explores whether an affordable household solution could reduce pollution at its source. |
