Abstract Major Depressive Disorder affects 280 million people globally, yet only 50% respond to first-line SSRI treatment. This project develops machine learning models to predict individual SSRI treatment response using brain connectivity patterns from fMRI scans. By identifying pre-treatment neural biomarkers, we aim to enable personalized treatment selection, reducing trial-and-error prescribing and accelerating remission for patients with depression.
