Abstract More than 1 billion people lack access to safe, affordable water. In addition, demand exceeds supply for global freshwater resources and this imbalance is projected to continue. This is a continuation project. In the previous projects, atmospheric water condensers were developed that could produce clean water and were improvements over traditional flat condensers. The purpose of this project is to take steps towards development of a novel condenser that functions by condensing water from multiple convection cells and which could potentially yield greater volumes than existing condensers.
