| Abstract | The purpose of this experiment is to determine the strength of magnetic attraction in six different liquids and/or solutions, in a transparent glass container. The number of steel washers attracted to a magnet lowered into each of the following six liquids and/or solutions, will be compared: room temperature water, boiling hot water, ice cold water, a saturated salt solution, a saturated sugar solution and a 10% acetic acid solution. |
