Abstract I decided to do my project on global warming because I was eager to learn more about this important subject. This is an important subject because often you hear scientists talk about this subject in the news. And it sounds like it’s affecting our planet more and more every day. There are lots of people arguing on what is causing it and what to do about it. Most scientists think that the increase in CO2 and other greenhouse gases are causing global warming. Some scientists argue with this theory and think it’s just a natural cycle of our planet. For my project, I decided to test the truth about global warming. Can greenhouse gases like CO2 cause the planet to heat up? To test this I plan to make two similar environments, with different amounts of CO2 in them and see which one heats up faster. I also decided to test to see if it is true that when water vapor is in form of a cloud it would prevent Global Warming. This is a very important experiment because scientists all around the world who believe in Global Warming could not figure a way to prevent Global Warming from happening. There’s a possibility that water vapor when in form of a cloud may be able to help prevent Global Warming from happening. So I did an experiment on this topic to test to see if it is possible to prevent Global Warming. Can water vapor prevent global warming? To test this hypothesis, I made two environments (cloud+CO2 and the other with just air) to see which one will heat up faster. If the cloud environment finishes with a cooler temperature than the air environment, it can prevent Global Warming. PROBLEM STATEMENT Testing the truth about Global Warming Can greenhouse gases like CO2 cause the planet to heat up? Does water vapor help prevent global warming when in the form of a cloud? ?
