Abstract Novel Approach of Reducing Toxic Effects of Mutant Huntingtin Gene (mHtt) on Striatal Neurons by Upregulating the Expression of PPARGC1A Gene The purpose of our project was to investigate a novel approach of reducing toxic effects of the mutant HTT gene that causes Huntington's Disease on the mitochondrial function of striatal neurons.
