Abstract This study looked at the differences between E-readers and printed reading. Three variables were explored: reading speed, retention and comprehension. Participants were surveyed regarding their reading preferences and future implications of digital reading were explored. The project was designed with the hope of determining the best method of presenting written material to students with optimal understanding and retention in a timely manner.
