Abstract To test an efficient and inexpensive filter for removing estrogenic pollutants from our wastewater at the individual household level by creating a household filter that attaches to one's toilet to filter out estrogen from liquid waste. (Estrogen is inadvertently released into sewers when women taking birth control pills of on hormone replacement therapy urinate.)
