Abstract The purpose of this experiment was to determine an approach toward discovering ways to decomposing Styrofoam without harming the environment. This was done using limonene from natural orange peel, as well as the peels of lime, lemon, grapefruit, pomelo, tangerine and commercial extract of orange limonene. These substances are all-natural and cause no harm to the environment. When exposed to the Styrofoam the results were compared.
