S01 : Microwave Assisted Extraction of Polyphenols from Cocoa Powder

Abstract The goal of the experiment was to extract various polyphenols from cocoa powder such as; Catechin C15H14O6, Procyanidin-B1 C30H26O12, Isoflavan C15H14O, and Quercetin C15H10O7. The applications of a successful extraction would be to provide new medicinal uses in developing countries as a cheap and readily available resource.
