Abstract Can the Fibonacci sequence be replaced in nature to optimize the growth of plants? Many plants contain Fibonacci spirals as they help the leaves gather the required sunlight, however is there a better sequence? If so, scientists and botanists can then replace the sequence within plants to give every plant the best possible pattern to increase the sunlight received. Plants all over could grow properly.
