Abstract The purpose of this project is to combat the excessive loss of heat and in turn power and money when heating homes in northern climates such as seen here in Canada. My experiment examines if an application of the Seebeck effect in the walls of a building can effectively compensate for this loss by generating electricity for use in a house or other residential building.
