Abstract To determine where, in planaria (flatworms) - Dugesia tigrina, memories are stored - in the "head" region, in the "tail" region, or throughout the body. Flatworms will be taught to navigate a T-maze and will then be severed in half (into "head" and "tail" regions). The severed portions will then then be tested to determine where memory for the task resides.
