| Abstract | The purpose of my project is to convert the mechanical energy emitted from the force of one striking a drum pad’s surface (lined with piezoelectric discs) into useful electrical energy that can be outputted or stored and to experiment different ways to maximize total voltage outputted, through experimenting variables such as temperature and level of force applied. This can turn ordinary everyday drum playing activities into useful, productive ones by generating voltage. |
