Abstract The purpose of this project is to demonstrate how cleaning with water can be improved by ultrasound and bubbles. Microbubbles activated by ultrasound have the potential to reduce environmental contamination, save energy, and decrease water wastage. The hypothesis is that bubbles, activated by ultrasonic waves, will improve the cleaning ability of water on certain materials by cleaning deep within the crevices of the said material.
