Abstract People all over the world have eye disease and don’t even know it. In fact, 80% of visual impairment caused by eye diseases could be prevented or cured if people had access to eye care and the first step is the diagnosis. Eye diseases can be prevented if only they were tested for at the right time. Many people in rural countries do not have easy access to optometrists and ophthalmologists, they would take the trek if they knew they had an eye disease. What if there was an easy way to identify eye diseases so more people could have a “New Point of View”? Is it possible to create an easy and effective eye screening test for people who do not have easy access to eye doctors?
