Abstract To find the efficiency of Galvanized Steel and Black Steel in External Water Distribution Systems. To compare a Coated Metal, such as Galvanized Steel, to an unprotected Metal, such as Black Steel, when exposed to a Rusting Solution, which consists of Hydrogen Peroxide and White Vinegar. To calculate the Rate of Corrosion with use of the formula: (Rcorr (mm/yr) = 87.6 x (W/DAT)), where W = weight loss (milligrams), D = Density of Metal (g/cm3), A = Surface Area of Metal (cm2), and, T = Time of exposure of the metal sample (hours).
