Abstract The purpose of this innovation is to design an accurate representation of a mini hydroelectric turbine that could be installed into the eavestrough. By hooking up the turbine to a motor and a battery, hopefully this will cause the turbine to continue to create and store energy for a long period of time. The turbine would be inserted into the eavestrough because then the turbine can use the rain water to generate electricity. In the process we will have to make some adjustments to the original design. For example, we will have to change the motor so that the turbine generates more energy. With a better motor we will be able to generate the more energy with less force used. we also have to change the way the turbine stores the electricity it generates so because we need to be able to change the way the turbine works so that it can store the electricity it makes. If possible I would also like to create a way for any backwash that collects in the eavestrough like leaves, and can create a place for those to be taken so that it doesn't clog the turbine.
