This is the Online Registration system for participation in the Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF).
Please have information on the project (title, description, purpose) and student(s) (names, address, emergency contacts) ready.
1) You will first Register your Project - this includes entering your Project Title, Description, Purpose, and Student details. You will then receive a Project Registration ID Number.
2) You will receive a confirmation by email in early March and you will be asked to upload your Project Abstract and Consent Form at that time.
3) You will receive information by email in early March about the in-person Fair schedule - Project setup on Wednesday March 11th, Judging Day on Thursday March 12th, Public Viewing on Saturday March 14th, and the Awards Show on March 24th. The Fair this year is being held at Hillfield Strathallan College in Hamilton, the Awards Show will be at the Ancaster Memorial Centre.
Once you submit the completed Registration information (step 1) you will not be able to change it. If you need to change or delete a registration after it has been completed, please contact us by email at registrar@basef.ca .
In some cases you may be asked to email us copies of your project forms before the fair.
