INTRODUCING THE ARDUINO KIT BURSARY
THIS YEAR, BASEF IS PROVIDING UP TO 10 ARDUINO KITS, FREE OF CHARGE, TO STUDENTS IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.
The kit includes:
ELEGOO UNO Project Super Starter Kit with Tutorial, 5V Relay, UNO R3, Power Supply Module, Servo Motor, 9V Battery with DC, Prototype Expansion Board, etc. for Arduino.

Note that this kit requires computer programming skills. The Arduino programming language is based on C/C++ but is designed to be easier to learn. To be set up for success, the interested student should already have basic knowledge of this language or be willing to learn. There are many free online resources offering instruction
Students will need access to a computer to download their code to the Arduino processor and to generally work with their Arduino-based project.

HOW TO APPLY:
• Teachers in the BASEF catchment can apply on behalf of their students in financial need.
• Application form is available on the BASEF website at: [LINK].
• Teachers can apply for EITHER the BASEF $30 cash bursary OR the BASEF Arduino Kit Bursary on behalf of a student, NOT both.
• Arduino Kit Bursaries will be provided for up to 10 individual students or student project pairs, based on the order in which applications are submitted.
